Caribbean Sorrel Fruit Cake

This tantalising Sorrel Fruit Cake is infused with the unique flavour of fresh home made sorrel juice, blended with dried fruits and aromatic spices. It is a spin-off of the traditional black fruit rum cake. Enjoy the alcoholic or non alcoholic version that will tantalise your taste buds.

The alcoholic version will last for 1 week at room temperature, and 1 month if kept wrapped and refrigerated in an airtight container. Alternatively, 6 months if frozen.
The non-alcoholic version will last for 1 week stored sealed in a cool dry place or refrigerated. Suitable to freeze for 2 months. Always serve your cake at room temperature.

Wheat flour (GLUTEN), Sugar, Butter (MILK), EGG, Lime juice, Raising agents, Vanilla extract, Mixed spices, Ginger, Sorrel (Hibiscus) flower juice, Dried mixed fruit puree, Wray & Nephew Overproof white rum, Jamaican Red Label wine.
